Position Description Summary
Children's lifestyle brand startup Kiz, Inc. is looking for a full time Technical Designer with a developed understanding of patterns, fit, & production workflow. You will be working side by side with the designer to establish sizing and grading standards, and build relationships with vendors and factories.

Job Duties
- Accurately interpret designs into completed tech packs for all units, including: spec with flat sketch, measurements, fabric & trim information, construction details, and sewing instructions.
- Create uniform sizing and fit standards for the brand.
- Run fittings and convey necessary changes to factory.
- Track and manage samples.
- Create and keep up-to-date WIP reports.
- Facilitate communication with factories on all technical issues.
Qualifications
- BFA or higher in Fashion, Technical design, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in technical design field.
- Strong verbal & visual communication skills.
- Strong hand & Illustrator flats.
- Developed knowledge of garment construction, fit, and fabrics.
- Must be organized and deadline oriented.
- Proficient in Adobe CS4 and Microsoft Office.
- Positive, professional attitude.
