  Drew Allen joins Kiz Toys as VP of Public Relations.

  Cumming, Ga - Feb. 26, 2008 -- Today Kiz Toys announced that Drew Allen will join the Kiz Toys team on a full-time basis as the Vice President of Public Relations. Allen has been working with Kiz Toys since November 2007, helping with writing projects and editing copy.

  In his new position, Allen will be in charge of media relations and content management, distributing press releases and building media relationships as well as writing or editing all written copy.

  “We are really excited to have Drew joining us full-time,” said Kiz Toys co-founder and CEO Chris Moreau. “He has already been instrumental in helping this company grow, and now he will play an even bigger role here at Kiz Toys. He brings experience from both sides of the media aisle, and his talents will be very valuable to Kiz Toys’ future.”

  Allen earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Georgia with a focus on composition and technical writing. He then worked with the Greater Augusta Sports Council in Augusta, Georgia, handling marketing and public relations duties. During his tenure, he also worked on PR and marketing campaigns promoting the start of the Tour de Georgia cycling race in Augusta, where American icon and seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong announced his retirement from cycling.

  Allen went on to work at Augusta State University in media relations, working with the media on a daily basis. He then crossed over to the other side of the media dynamic, serving as the Sports Editor at a North Georgia newspaper.
