  ALPHARETTA, GA – On February 15, 2009, at the New York Toy Fair, Kiz will unveil KizPal, the first of two initial product lines that access KizToys’ virtual Global Playground™.
  
  KizPal is a line of action figures that features characters from KizPlanet, a new world where a special key unlocks an ever-evolving universe of excitement, education, adventure and games.
  
  Each action figure is packaged with a USB key that accesses the KizPlanet virtual Global Playground and generates a digital avatar of the character. With their KizPals children can explore different areas of KizPlanet, safely interact with other kids, earn KizCash to “purchase” cool items and upgrades for their avatars, and play fun games.
  
  All KizPal products are fully interactive with the KizPlanet Global Playground, and each individual product expands the world and the user’s experience as they become a part of the online KizPlanet story and play an active role in the continuously developing narrative.
  
  The KizPlanet Global Playground is a virtual world ecosystem that connects children from around the globe in an exciting, safe 3D interactive environment. It is the place where all KizToys products come together to create a new, exciting virtual world that engages kids with thrilling adventures, awesome 3D graphics, educational experiences and interaction that can’t be found anywhere else.
  
  KizPal product line:
  ·    Simon Welk– Simon Welk is the villainous genius who will stop at nothing to control KizPlanet. Simon has contempt for imagination and fun, and he strives to bring a bland “order” to the colorful chaos of KizPlanet. Simon corresponds with the KizMoto Shadow.
  ·    Muck Men – Muck Men form the personal army of Simon Welk, and they are constantly a threat on KizPlanet. While they may seem scary by nature, they are really just acting out their orders from Simon because they don’t know any better. Muck Men correspond with the KizMoto Muck Truck.
  ·    Max – Max and his Pals live on KizPlanet and must work together to defend their world from Simon and the Muck Men. Max is a wide-eyed prankster, eager to take on any challenge or new experience, and that can sometimes get him into trouble. Max corresponds with the KizMoto Chaser.
  ·    Jessie – Jessie loves animals and nature and has a lot of interest in her Native American heritage. She is the motherly figure of the group, and when someone gets out of line she isn’t afraid to let them know it. Jessie corresponds with the KizMoto Cricket.
  ·    Wesley – Wesley is connected to the water. He comes from an island just off the shores of the KizPlanet mainland. Wesley is a laid-back guy, and he is always more concerned about just having fun than proving that he is the best. Wesley corresponds with the KizMoto Riptide.
  
  KizPal characters have an MSRP of $24.99 (USD) and are intended for ages five and up.
