  Kiz® Introduces Kiz®Safe, An Innovative Measure to Protect Children Online
  

  ALPHARETTA, GA – January, 2009 - Kiz®, the company that is revolutionizing the way children play both on- and offline, announces the introduction of KizSafe, a new technology that allows children to play, communicate and socialize in the digital landscape, out of harm's way with complete anonymity.
  
  Through a patent-pending business process the KizSafe Interface utilizes a four-pronged approach, addressing safety through technology, parental monitoring, information and product testing. These features, procedures and services weave together to protect kids in KizPlanet, a fully contained 3D virtual ecosystem, and to help parents better understand Internet safety, ensuring that their kids always have safe, fun experiences online.

  Kiz’ patent-pending KizSafe technology is delivered to users through KizToys products. Each toy comes with a USB key that, with purchase, allows users to access the KizToys virtual world, KizPlanet. When a key is plugged in to an Internet-connected computer it launches the user directly to KizPlanet. This direct connection with dual encryption means that kids aren’t forced to search for the access site and possibly stumble on inappropriate sites or materials. Each key is unique and identifiable by the server, so no personal information is ever entered by the user. KizSafe technology also has a presence in KizPlanet as a virtual parental monitoring tool where parents can receive reports on their child’s online time and interactions.
  
  All KizToys products are tested and must be approved by a third-party testing facility to ensure product safety. Each individual product conforms to the safety requirements of ASTM F963 and the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (H.R. 4040), and all KizToys products are made with lead-free paint and phthalate-free material. KizToys’ products meet all of the requirements of new American toy safety legislation.
